Mother of the Bride Dresses
The most important day for the bride is as important for the mother of the bride. The dresses for both should
express the beauty of the bride and be equally flattering to the mother of the bride.
Chosing the right dress and style, and making sure that they match without being copies can be a tad tricky. But
it's not just the dress, it's the entire day, the preparations and the conventions.
If you want to be sure to handle everything so that this day will really be the most important and enjoyable day
for mother and bride, then these guides might be a good choice to help you prepare:
The Mother-Of-The-Bride Book - Giving Your Daughter a Wonderful Wedding
| |
I highly recommend this book to any hostess or mother of the bride. I am going up to
West Point Military Academy this weekend to finalize preparations for my daughter's party. Details
I never would have thought to ask, but certainly appear to be most important, were brought to my
attention. There are also areas to document deposits and conversations with various vendors who
will be hired for the party. I suggest that you write in pencil, because changes can always be
erased. This is a remarkable guide to effectly carry out plans in a timely, correct fashion. I have
browsed through books over the last few months. This has given me everything I need. Great job,

This book had been helpful to me as a "mother of the bride" to be in January, 2009. Even though my daughter is
doing a very small, simple wedding, this book had answered some of my questions and I've passed the info on to her.
Since I have 2 more daughters, I'll hold on to this one for quite awhile. Cynthia A. Farr, Wild Wonderful,

start to finish, with special attention given to the responsibilities of the mother of the bride,

from the bride, The Knot Guide for the Mother of the Bride will help mothers and daughters enjoy
the wedding—and each other. |
My mom had so many questions about what she was supposed to do as the MOB, so I purchased this book for her. She
LOVES it! I have not read it, but she is always referring to it. She says that it addresses all sorts of issues and
had been extremely helpful. She has recommended it for one of her friends who is also a MOB. - J.
